This resource website features free educational content and curriculum to encourage children to build life skills that promote gender equality.
She Creates Change is a multi-media storytelling initiative from Room to Read – spanning an award-winning animated and live-action film, illustrated books and compelling audio stories. The project boldly aims to reach all 432 million adolescent girls (ages 12-18) around the world with educational content and curriculum that promotes gender equality and inspires change.
She Creates Change tells the true stories of six courageous girls from historically low-income communities in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Viet Nam as each of them confronts challenges unique to their lives – such as harassment, food scarcity or early marriage – by discovering their power and advocating for themselves and their futures. Each girl becomes the hero of her own story and creates lasting change in her community.
