This document provides a detailed outline of Save the Children in Nepal’s behaviour change intervention, which provides emotion-based messages to parents in a community setting. In 2011, Save the Children in Nepal sought to complement the “Choices” gender transformative intervention with an approach that would create a more gender equitable environment for children by influencing their parents’ attitudes and behaviours towards education and respectful dialogue for problem-solving in relationships.
