Author: jplummerexternal

The ALIGN Forum is a space for members of the Community of Practice to share knowledge and learning on a variety of issues relating to gender norm dynamics and change processes. We hope it will foster interaction, discussion and debate across topics and disciplines and contribute to our vision of advancing understanding and ensuring knowledge on norm change contributes to sustainable gender justice.

We encourage postings of the following type on the forum:

  • Questions about gender norms theory, research methodology and evaluation
  • Sharing experiences of gender norms projects and programmes – particularly evaluations and lessons learned
  • Gender norms-related events, especially those organised or run by members
  • Gender norms-related articles, papers, books, websites, toolkits and websites, especially those authored or developed by members
  • Suggestions for improvement for the ALIGN Platform

By registering for the forum, members of the Community of Practice agree to treat other users with respect and be mindful of the following:

  • We welcome and encourage a diversity of views, opinions and approaches, and responses should always be framed constructively
  • Contributions should be collegial and non-aggressive
  • ALIGN is a global community, so please consider how your words might be interpreted by people from other cultures and language groups
  • Please use plain English and minimise jargon wherever possible to ensure that all members are able to participate as fully as possible
  • Language should be gender-sensitive

The following material or content is discouraged on the forum and may be removed by the moderators:
